Jyran - Sofitel.
Set within Sofitel Mumbai bkc in the city's bustling financial district, jyran restaurant which is lavishly furnished in a contemporary style in glittering gold. It is designed in a very contemporary manner but has different elements such as the lattice work style windows and earthen interiors that subtly remind you that this a north Indian themed restaurant.
Few days back I landed back in bombay and as it's the holy month of Ramadan I was craving for some meaty delicacies, that's when one of my close friend suggested me to visit jyran as they are back with their popular iftar special food.
The eclectic menu was curated by chef shadab Ahmed which features the magnificent course which is spiced generously and made with alot of love which you can taste with every bite that you take.
So what all did I have ?
My meal started with soup
- Murg nawabi shorba.
Then we had the appetizers
- Veg cutlet
- Roti pe bhuni boti
- Shammi kebab
- Murg Al jyran
- Jhinga cutlet.
Followed by the main course
- Dal e khaas
- Paneer lababdar
- Kheema pav
- Gurda kaleji pav
- Khichda
- Murg Dum biryani.
Ended the meal on a perfect note with
- Rasmalai.
Overall it was a meal worth licking every finger and remembering it for days to come.
