Ishaara’s collaboration with Rachel Goenka is one for the ‘books’. The versatile dessert queen, best known for her blend of eclectic flavours and coveted offerings has joined forces with Prashant Issar of Ishaara to offer six of the indulgences featuring in her award-winning debut book. Adventures with Mithai - an appetizing read for dessert lovers is a guide to the world of culinary magic featuring recipes of mithai in a never seen before avatar transformed into international gourmet desserts. Complementing this experience is the delicious Doodhi Halwa with Cardamom cream served on a bed of crunchy Chocolate Sable, a dessert exclusively curated for Ishaara by Rachel. Talking about this special treat, Rachel shares, “Adventures with Mithai is about putting contemporary twists on your favourite desserts in a DIY format. Given that Doodhi Halwa is traditionally one of those delicacies made from scratch at home, I thought this would fit perfectly with Ishaara’s ethos of presenting traditional Indian flavours in a contemporary way”.
And if you think this selection served is limited, think again; the Anjeer Barfi Treacle Tart, Kala Jamun Bread & Butter Pudding, Motichoor Laddoo with Cardamom Mousse, Mysore Pak and Tender Coconut Domes, Bitter Chocolate Nap Naang and Shahi Tukda Cinnamon Rolls With Rabri Cream pushes the envelope with their sweet concoctions perfect to end that Ishaara meal on a sweet note.
