Tis the season to eat merry, introducing Christmas delights at Salt Water Cafe, Bandra

 This December, the quaint European style cafe situated in the bylanes of Bandra brings Christmas cheer with its Christmas special menu. Indulge in dishes specially curated for the holiday season by Chef Gresham Fernandes, Culinary Director at Impresario Handmade Restaurants. Prepared using local produce and age-old recipes, this delightful spread comes packed with all-new flavours and textures.

Enjoy yourself a merry little Christmas meal that features a warm and hearty, Salt baked celeriac soup with asparagus and black truffle oil; Parmesan gnocchi, burrata, tomatoes and pumpkin seed pesto; Pappardelle tossed in brown butter, sage and hazelnuts; Slow cooked pork belly, macadamia and red pepper sauce; Boxing day fried rice with XO sauce and Whole roast chicken to share, accompanied with tasty sauce and sides.

Sip on Christmas Drinkies like the Tropical eggnog (with Brandy, coconut milk, pineapple chunks, vanilla essence, egg and sugar) and cocktails like Bandra sorrel punch (with Dark rum, raspberry syrup, lime juice, ginger juice and orange juice); Gin N sage smash (Gin, apple cider vinegar, pomegranate juice, ginger ale, sage, passion fruit syrup and egg white) and Mulled Manhattan (with Whiskey, mulled wine and honey) or a spiked Adult hot chocolate (with Whiskey or rum), because no one ever turns down a toasty (and boozy) cup of hot cocoa.

Lots of sweetness and vibrant desserts is what Christmas is all about. To end this delightful meal the dessert section features Christmas chocolate brownie with strawberry sorbet and milk crumble and a Small bag of Marzipankartoffeln aka Marzipan Potatoes coated with cocoa powder and rolled to look like potatoes.
